On January 15, 2019, Enrique Dussel Peters, Professor of Economics at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, visited the University of Pittsburgh. He spoke on a variety of critical topics relating to the importanc eof theory and methodology for understanding China within and beyond its bordesr with particular focus on China in Latin America and the Caribbean. The presentation was followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Ariel Armony, Vice Provost of Global Affairs and Director of the University Center for International Studies.
